Threads 4 Thought was founded in 2006 with the mission to create fashion that leaves an innately smaller impact on our environment, supports in-need communities, and assists in changing the narrative and understanding of ethical standards within the fashion industry.

When Eric & Leigh Fleet co-founded Threads 4 Thought, they knew that fashion production was the worlds 2nd most environmentally destructive industry globally. Despite that fact, at that time in 2006, there also were not very many (if any) viable options or brands to purchase that stood for sustainably & responsibly produced fashion. They also knew that every time someone buys a product or supports a brand, a vote is being cast that informs how manufacturers & brands act. Creating a brand that stood for affordable, high quality, sustainably & responsibly made clothing would give people an opportunity to make a conscious choice while shopping and, over time, those individual choices would help to elevate the ethical and moral standards across the entire apparel industry. Thankfully, we see that original vision coming to life today with more & more ethical options & brands for customers to choose from. We are proud to be industry leaders in ethically made fashion & while there have been many strides made over the last 15 years, there is a lot more to be done in order to ensure a more sustainable future for fashion.
